It does still have the trademark at the bottom, but fortunately that’s at the very bottom, so when displayed it does not show ‘made by Warner Bros’ on the side, taking you out of magic… Now this isn’t an unboxing, because I’ve had this prop for quite a while, but more of a close-up of the detail, so you can see what it looks like if you’re considering getting it… To many shoppers’ amusement, it dropped an aubergine-shaped egg that made for a cheeky gift for a partner.

Marks and Spencer has launched a new chocolate Easter egg and tin that is perfect for any fans of the beloved Harry Potter franchise. So that one was the hero prop (so for close-up shots in the film) it would have the highest level of detail… No matter how hard Harry tries, the sound the egg makes does not change. Nothing happens to the egg when Harry asks it questions over the wailing noise, nor when he throws it across the room.
