AMEER AL OUD Intense Arabian Oudh Perfume Eau De Parfum 100ml Men Women Unisex Fragrance
About this deal
this was my first "Gulf fragrance " as many arabs call it. and I never regret it . it is so nicely done and performance is decent. A lad in my pool team asked me what I was wearing as he liked it, next week he came in wearing it, or at least I thought. He'd bought this stuff. Not quite as smoky as By The Fireplace, and much sweeter, has a real golden syrup vibe to it. The opening is spicier too, then it dries down to the BTF scent. That said, BTF is one of the highest quality designers I've smelled out there, and while AAO can't meet that bar, it does smell verry verry pleasant. Good quality too, it certainly smells upper tier designer in smell. I was really pleasantly surprised by this. Also projects and performs pretty good too. Now, 24 hours after a single spray application, it still lingers as a skin scent. The Ameer Al Oudh Intense Oud perfume is popular among those who want to make a statement with their scent. It is designed to be long-lasting, so you can enjoy its captivating aroma all day.
Top notes are agarwood (oud), cinnamon and nutmeg; middle notes are jasmine and sandalwood; base notes are musk, vanilla, guaiac wood, amber, and cedar. Depicting the strength of this lingering scent, this fragrance main oud note is Oudh from Cambodia which yields earthy and woody smoky notes. My first thoughts were that it smells like church incense with a sweet sugar and a general "orientallness". A very very sweet and incense-y, maybe a little medicinal opening. Dries down to some sort of general woodiness and the titular oud, which is obviously synthetic and does give that rubber tires smell a little bit. I get some sort of synthetic smell in the frag which I hate. Some sort of chemical woodiness I guess. Just messes up the whole fragrance for me.
Smells like a dessert is cooking in a wood fire. Even the scent feels warm to my nose and there is this uncanny wood smoke aftersmell/nosefeel when I exhale.I've been wearing it every day for a week straight after I got it. And I know it's spring and I hoarded a buncha spring perfumes to specifically wear IN SPRING... but I'm too addicted to this one :')
