About this deal

I am so used to my inflatable ones now that I can’t remember what it’s like in a fibreglass one, but my friends do say that it feels a bit less responsive than proper kayaks.

Lightweight and compact, this kayak is very easy to assemble and, with the Boston valve, it inflates and deflates in minutes. There is no room for luggage at the front of the bow, as the person in front would otherwise not know where to put the feet. The included Intex Double Quick II* is a small-volume double-stroke pump with three different attachments. Your core muscles are stronger, so you’ll have more endurance and less of a chance of pulling or straining a muscle. Intex has thought of everything so that your double kayak trips are perfect, for this reason it includes an inflation pump that will be connected to the Boston valves so that inflation and deflation is as fast as possible. It is lightweight and compact, this kayak is a snap to assemble, allowing you to take the fun of kayaking wherever you go.

Like other workouts, you don’t want to overdo your first kayaking trips and make it difficult to paddle back to shore. A big difference between the Intex Explorer K2 and other higher-quality inflatables is the low air pressure that results in very soft air cambers. Equipped with two adjustable inflatable seats with backrests, this kayak will offer you optimal comfort. Wetsuit gloves*; necessary for longer trips to stop rubbing /chafing around your thumbs, and for in winter when it’s COLD. Made with rugged vinyl construction, this sturdy kayak has an inflatable I-beam floor for comfort and rigidity. The goal is to show ads that are relevant and engaging for each individual user, making the ads more valuable for publishers and third-party advertisers. I like the waist-belt style like this as it fits more than just your phone (unlike the lanyard ones that go around your neck*). To use a sweep stroke to turn backward:Place the end of the paddle in the water against the stern of the kayak. I have only had one outing, the Kennet and Avon canal, but like you I plan to get in some coastal paddling as well, when conditions are suitable of course.

It’s okay if you’re planning to chill at the beach for an hour or two after your kayak so they can sit and deflate by themselves, but if you’re planning to head straight home, you can forget about folding them back into their carry bags properly. Start with the inside hole (which pumps up the base of the kayak), and then go for the outside hole which pumps up the outer part of the kayak. Lightweight and compact, this kayak is a snap to assemble, and allows you to take the fun of kayaking wherever you go. You can change your choices at any time by visiting Cookie preferences, as described in the Cookie notice. You cant expect much from this only being a 100 inflatable kayak but I can say I am pleasantly surprised at the durability and how easy it is to inflate. The Excursion Pro is the most expensive inflatable kayak from Intex but the boat skin is much thicker and it has much more features. On the other hand, the drip rings, which reduce splashing water in the boat, are a positive feature. This Intex inflatable kayak Challenger K2 will be ideal for having a recreational trip in the pool or on a quiet lake.

They’re bulky, don’t mix well with airports or airplanes and there’s always the risk of getting a ding. Make the most out of those hot days with the Intex Explorer K2 2-Person Inflatable Kayak Set;2-person inflatable water craft great for lakes and mild rivers.

It’s a no-brainer, especially if you’re a beginner kayaker – but I’ll talk more about that in a second. After we deflated our kayaks, we noticed small bumps on the outer skin of one of the chambers of the K2.
