About this deal

At journey's end, the overall package is highly-recommended for fans and those hungering for some of the best HDR goodness currently available. Beginning with Memento in 2000 where we met a man who suffered from short-term memory loss, he helmed the reboot of the Batman franchise. com and Paramount Home Entertainment are offering three members the opportunity to win a 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray copy of director Christopher Nolan's Interstellar (2014), starring Matthew McConaughey, Anne Hathaway, Jessica Chastain, Ellen Burstyn, and John . Brand reveals that a wormhole, potentially created by an alien intelligence, has opened near Saturn and leads to new planets in another galaxy that may offer hope for survival.

As stated, Interstellar already looked fabulous on Blu-ray, but that image was not without its faults, despite the mostly jaw-dropping results. Everything is so appropriately balanced and authentic throughout that I am at a loss for words (imagine that) to describe it all here. Surround Sound Presentation: The rears are alive throughout from various instances such as whipping wind, sirens and even that tension-filled docking scene.

I really wish I could go into so much more detail and discuss all the other names hidden from the movie poster here, but alas I cannot. Former NASA pilot Cooper (Matthew McConaughey) lives on and maintains a working farm with his, 10-year-old daughter Murphy, 15-year-old son Tom, and father-in-law Donald. I don’t think Spielberg would ever let the science overshadow the story and most importantly, the characters, but I’ll exercise my right to digress again because I actually do want to get to all the geeky scientific stuff in this review too.In my opinion, five-star scores across the board don’t come around too often here so when they do, case in point being Interstellar 4K today, I tend to take time to cherish the moment and gleefully smile on a job well done not only here within this review, but to the peeps at Paramount who made this all possible. Glad to see 4K's releasing along side the BRD copies on new films so it's only on the older films being re-worked and that I'm interested in that I take the hit to wallet for the double dip.

From director Christopher Nolan (Inception, The Dark Knight Trilogy) comes the story of a team of pioneers undertaking the most important mission in human history. Interstellar reaches for the stars and doesn’t always hit its mark, but it’s a marvelous film experience that warms the heart and excites the senses. In case there’s anybody reading this that hasn’t seen this one yet, I’m not spoiling anything for you in that regards (although I badly want to because the one big one feels like I’ve seen the same character played by them before). A few that stood out other than those mentioned are the entering of the wormhole, entering Miller’s atmosphere/landing, Cooper and Gargantua. After seeing Dune 2021 and others on my home system with the IMAX ratio footage, I can only imagine how amazing Interstellar would look if they released that version.
