About this deal

I looked at axminster who do a 24 gauge nailer, but as far as I can see 24 gauge nails arent widely available, and the max depth is about 20mm. The following are trademarks for one or more DEWALT power tools, accessories, anchors and concrete adhesives: The yellow and black color scheme; the “D”-shaped air intake grill; the array of pyramids on the handgrip; the kit box configuration; and the array of lozenge-shaped humps on the surface of the tool. The tool will really and truly bump fire, even 90mm nails (despite DW advising otherwise) but getting it to properly sink nail heads may take a little practice – it operates in a different way to gas nailers and that can take some adjustment on the part of the operator.

In the case of a major jam (where the stall release lever can't clear the problem – such as a bent nail caught in the nose) it may be necessary to unship the battery, undo and clear the nose and release the stall before reinserting the battery. The Hikoki NP18DSALW4Z 18V 23 Gauge Pin Nailer is a lightweight and compact piece of equipment, ideal for working with nails between 15 and 35mm in length.Stalls and jams can happen with any first fix gun, so the stall release lever on the front of the nailer is designed to overcome this when it happens. When nails are loaded there is a window in the magazine that permits visual observation of the nails. Nailers usually use either compressed air or a rotating electric motor to deliver fast firing speeds and high precision. DeWalt recommends either Dewalt or Porter-Cable pins, but I have had great success with Senco as well.

Instead two hex screws either side of the silver top are undone and the entire top is pulled clear with the springs and driver pin readily accessible for replacement (they are in a “casette” which is held in place by three screws). I know that the last 2 are out (23g nail gun in the USA not UK) or on the brink of being out (cordless belt sander). If anything I’d probably prefer corded to avoid having different batteries (all my current battery powered stuff is dewalt). If you deny, we will use only the essential cookies and you will not receive any personalised content. Gas guns are known to corrode battery terminals with a black, non-conductive “deposit” at a rate of knots (and which regular user hasn't had blackened battery terminals at one time or another?Additional features include low battery and stall indicator lights (at the top, rear of the motor casing), a stall release lever, and jam-clearing lever. Nail guns are available in different types and ranges, including pneumatic, cordless, electric and brad nailer. We don’t share your credit card details with third-party sellers, and we don’t sell your information to others. A nail gun is a type of power tool that drives nails into wood or other materials with high velocity and precision.
