Brooks Men's Adrenaline Gts 20 Running Shoe
About this deal
It looks better on-foot than I expected, and I’ve actually been choosing it for some casual wear in addition to my runs. If long runs of 10+ miles are your main training motif, yet you want a shoe that can also handle intervals, go with the Adrenaline GTS 20. Be sure to look at the latest version of your current shoe as most popular styles tend to be slightly tweaked rather than completely redesigned when updated. New for this edition is the addition of the GuideRails support system which helps to protect your knees by preventing excess movement. Now design: Brooks has started using its GuideRails Holistic Support System in a lot of its running shoes, including the GTS 20.
The fastest bobsleds are the ones that best slip down the grooves worn into the track with minimal lateral movement and chaotic noise. The Adrenaline GTS 20 will keep you running for as long as you want and you can run safe in the knowledge that you’re getting the best protection and cushioning possible. The combination of “StealthFit” plus “Support” would create a comfortable lifestyle shoe that will handle a few miles on the weekends, or a moderately supportive shoe for low-stability needs.
The Brooks Adrenaline GTS 20 Women’s Running Shoe has changed focus from the feet to the knees which can be one of the most injury-prone parts of the body when running. Today I run 10k and felt strikes from my left foot mid-sole to my knee, I am thinking maybe the shoe is the source of the problem. It doesn't feel like your foot is being forced into a certain position or form every step, but is a much more natural feel. It is actually made with a system that controls motion in the foot to minimize this chain of reactions. The midsole present in the twentieth edition of the Brooks Adrenaline GTS incorporates, once again, the BioMoGo DNA compound, a structure that allows a more reactive cushioning.
To get to the current badassness of the GTS 20, Brooks preserved the baseline Adrenaline model and added a few new features. It has a good flex point midfoot in the shoe and provides a smooth ride with a good transition for me. These Rails, designed with the idea of bowling bumpers in mind, keep my knees in alignment because they gently direct off-kilter foot motion back into forward momentum. There's very little slippage, and most runners will never have to worry about anything approaching a blister.
