About this deal

Divided into chapters on American, Chinese, Indian, Italian and Middle Eastern classics you'll find recipes which take just fifteen minutes to cook, slow-cooker recipes that do the hard work for you, and menus that will feed up to four people. I left out the tuna on some for a vegetarian option and next time I might try out a couple of other fillings like green beans or omelette. I could easily have eaten seconds (and thirds) and the best thing about it was just how simple it was to make. Refreshingly practical, Fakeaway contains all the inspiration you need to make delicious meals for your family from scratch and on a budget.

The recipe makes a very generous amount of Sushi, with masses even after my need to sample and the first experience with the sushi mat. I have been trying to make this recipe since the beginning of January 🙈 as its a perfect vegetarian recipe for Meat Free Monday but as with all things in my life it takes time to get these things done. The main reason for my 3 stars is the fact that the digital version is simply a scanned version, no live links.

We don’t share your credit card details with third-party sellers, and we don’t sell your information to others. His brand new book, Fakeaway is here to help you recreate healthier and cheaper versions of your favourite takeaway dishes at home but without any compromise on flavour and fun, from sweet and sour chicken to loaded nachos.

If you are on a tight time schedule and don’t have time to faff around just leave these extra steps out, remember this is your meal for you and your family so do whatever is best for you to get food on the table. However, here we are and I can definitely say this one was worth the wait it was amazing really hit the spot and if you’re craving a takeaway then maybe give this a try. This really is the simplest recipe ever the only tip i have is when creating the sauce do not take your eyes off pan as the sauce reduces very quickly and you need to make sure you have enough left to coat the chicken. As you know Im a huge fan of kebabs and have made them many different ways including creating a spike stuck in a potato – this kind of works but it’s so unstable. Well done Mr Bavin and after reading the ‘Introduction’ and then the ‘Thank you’ at the end of the book - it makes it a more personable and relatable book for home life cooking.I used a Spicentice spice kit which is designed to make Char Sui Spare Ribs, but i didn’t have any so decided to use a pork joint i used leg with all fat removed, this recipe really shows how versatile these kits are. I expected the coating of the chicken to be a bit of a faff but it really wasn’t and baking the chicken rather than frying it means the whole dish is a whole lot healthier than usual.
